Suicide Prevention and Awareness

I was 10 when my father died by suicide. It took me 10 more years to finally be ready to accept his death. I have experienced every emotion I possibly could toward both suicide and my father. Much of what I felt stemmed from a lack of realizing how deeply the experience affected me. After 20 years of being lost and searching I am finally at a place where I can be open. I have found there are many “survivors” who are lost in the fog of suicide grief.

My desire is to raise Awareness and promote Suicide Prevention. I hope to help others come to understand their pain, depression, or simply learn a bit more by sharing my own journey of acceptance. If you would like to join the cause to raise awareness please don’t hesitate. My site is here to show You that you are not alone.

If you are in crisis please seek help. If you need to speak out then do it. Don’t let the fear of shame hold you back from living. You are stronger than you realize.

Please comment or contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or simply need an open heart to share your story with.

Be well.
